Campaigning in Oxford
The Oxford Mail chapel and the Oxford branch will be seeking to highlight the implication these attacks on the provincial press have for local communities when Nick Davies, author of Flat Earth News, speaks at a public meeting at the end of January. Speaking alongside him will be NUJ Deputy General Secretary Michelle Stanistreet, who is spearheading moves to build local Stand Up for Journalism campaigns involving journalists as well as local councils and community groups.
