Oxford Courier and JournalThe Oxford Courier and Journal are freesheets distributed around large parts of Oxfordshire and parts of Berkshire. It was recently bought by Milestone, a multimedia group that also owns SixTV and Passion FM in the Oxford area, as well as local newspaper, TV and radio interests in Berkshire and the Midlands.
The papers are produced by a newsroom of five, located in Abingdon. The chapel there is in the process (October 2003) of applying for recognition.
